Structured lessons
Syllabus-aligned, start to finish.
Every lesson is built from the course syllabus: one clear learning intention, precise success criteria, and nothing that doesn't earn its place.
ATAR · Western Australian Curriculum · In production
ATAR courses reward depth, precision and exam craft. A classroom teacher with one lesson period and thirty students at thirty levels can't differentiate deeply enough for the student chasing a 95, however good that teacher is. Sorsa's ATAR program is being built to do exactly that: personalised depth, structured feedback, and no artificial ceiling.
What we're building
This is the approach every Sorsa ATAR course is being built around: the support a teacher would give every serious student if the timetable allowed it.
Structured lessons
Every lesson is built from the course syllabus: one clear learning intention, precise success criteria, and nothing that doesn't earn its place.
Graded question ladders
Ladders that start at course level and keep going up, so a capable student is never finished at "good enough" and always has a harder rung to reach for.
Exam-style writing
Extended responses in exam register, with structured feedback on what earned marks, what didn't, and exactly what a stronger answer looks like.
Visible progress
Progress recorded lesson by lesson, so students and parents both see what was completed, how it went, and where the marks are trending.
Built for the push
There's a difference between coasting to a decent score and being pushed to a true ceiling. Plenty of capable students coast, not from lack of ambition, but because nothing around them ever demands more than "good enough".
Sorsa is being built for the second kind of student: the one who wants harder questions the moment the easy ones stop teaching them anything, honest feedback on their writing, and a clear picture of how far they can actually go.
Coasting
Finish the set questions, tick the box, settle for the mark that comes without a fight.
The push
Climb past the standard, write under exam conditions, act on real feedback, and find out where the ceiling actually is.
Planned for launch and beyond
